Do wish to know the jamb cut off mark for universities, polytechnics and college of education.  In this post, I am going to give you all the information you need to know about JAMB Cut off marks for Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education for 2019/2020.

JAMB Cut off mark for Universities, Polytechnics and colleges of Education has been released by the management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for 2019/2020 session. The cut off mark was released after the last meeting the board had some weeks ago concerning admission for 2019/2020.

Cut-off marks for nigerian universities

The management has announced that the minimum cut off mark for admission into Universities is 140. This means that cut off mark into Universities will not go below 140. However, each institution has the choice of choosing their own cut off mark.

Jamb Cut-Off Mark For Nigerian Polytechnic 

For Polytechnics, The management has announced that the minimum cut off mark for admission into any of the Polytechnics in Nigeria is 120. This means that cut off mark into Polytechnics will not go below 120. However, each institution has the choice of choosing their own cut off mark but it should not be below 120.

JAMB Cut Off Mark For Colleges of Education

The management has scheduled the minimum cut off mark for Colleges of Education to be 100 as well just as it did for Polytechnics. However, each institution also has the choice of choosing their own cut off mark.

Even at the announcement last year that the cut off mark was as scheduled above, some Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education chose 120 while some chose more than.

In summary the general jamb 2018/2019 cut-off mark is:

Universities – 140, Polytechnics – 120, Colleges – 100, Institutes – 110
